Ok, tear me apart you libs, hippies, homosexuals, and any non-white ethnicity
8/16/2006 12:19:24 PM
i do too, but aparently for different reasons.
8/16/2006 12:20:19 PM
well, personally I agree more with his views on politics, homeland security, immigration, and the economy. But I know my views will be hated by those forementioned, so I just threw that out there.
8/16/2006 12:24:23 PM
he claimed that no illegal hispanics are working in the fruit industry in south florida.
8/16/2006 12:25:55 PM
I hate sean hannity. I hate bill o'reilly. But i do love rush limbaugh. Hannity is too party line. it's OMG I LOVE BLOWING GWBUSH OMG and that's it. O'reilly is just a tool. But Limbaugh actually speaks with conviction.
8/16/2006 12:39:50 PM
^^ I mostly included that because most of the time he gets labeled as a racist by those who disagree with his views.
8/16/2006 12:47:03 PM
O'Reilly can be an ass, but I also think he does some good things. And he usually follows through with his intentions. I like his support of Jessica's Law (i think that's what it's called) cracking down on sex offenders.
8/16/2006 12:50:00 PM
I'm frankly tired of hearing about the sex cases on o'reilly's show. I watch him for political punditry. Or, I used to watch him for political punditry.
8/16/2006 12:50:36 PM
I like how Hannity does his show with a liberal...Allen Colmeswith all the shit talk about how conservatively biased FoxNews is, how many conservatives does mediamatters.org have working for them?
8/16/2006 12:50:59 PM
^aha...but hannity repeats himself way tooooo muuuuuuch
8/16/2006 12:51:53 PM
and Rhodesia was a white nation
8/16/2006 12:51:57 PM
^^^ Two things:1) I like how Sean Hannity does his show with the liberal equivalent of Mr. Potato Head, too. It's a small part of the way Fox mocks its own branding as being Fair and Balanced. They may as well have given Bill Kristol a show and just picked a random, soft-spoken, PETA freshman from UC Santa Cruz to be his counterpart. For more on this phenomenon...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_bias#Efforts_to_correct_bias2) Let's go to the mission statements for this one...Media Matters
8/16/2006 3:35:04 PM
If you listen to Limbaugh, Hannity, et. al. you are at best uninformed, at worst, brainwashed.
8/16/2006 3:39:04 PM
^^it's off-topic, but this:
8/16/2006 3:39:21 PM
I like boortz
8/16/2006 3:39:23 PM
^^^if you listen to Jon Stewart, you are at best, a dumb college-aged kid who thinks he has it all figured out
8/16/2006 3:43:05 PM
if you think the Daily Show is supposed to be at all like Talk Radio then you are a malformed fetus.
8/16/2006 3:45:11 PM
well i just said dumb college-aged kid...if you want to say malformed fetus that will work too
8/16/2006 3:46:00 PM
the daily show is nothing at all what you think it is.
8/16/2006 3:49:17 PM
8/16/2006 3:49:32 PM
Gamecat wins this thread.
8/16/2006 3:52:01 PM
8/16/2006 7:51:40 PM
yes we should keep reading Jayson Blair and trust everything the print media says.
8/16/2006 7:58:16 PM
I love Rush's spin on the news, he's always informative and entertaining. Hannity does get repetitive and dull after awhile. Boortz is fine until he starts insulting religion in general.
8/16/2006 8:12:55 PM
religion causes alot of problems thoughhannity, I liked him for a week or two, then it got oldI can handle rush in dosesI like boortz though... always haveI usually listen to sports talk though
8/16/2006 8:31:27 PM
Yeah I like sports radio too, but most of the sports talk in the triangle sucks.
8/16/2006 8:46:35 PM
I listen to local guys until Boortz comes on and then I'll listen to him. After he's off, I turn off the radio. No one else has anything decent to say.
8/16/2006 8:47:30 PM
i like hannity, too. he's always good for a laugh or two hundred
8/16/2006 8:51:41 PM
What about the Savage Nation?
8/16/2006 9:53:57 PM
^ The left hates his guts so he must be doing something right.
8/16/2006 10:15:38 PM
8/17/2006 12:07:54 AM
I'm a Sean and Rush fan but keep it under wraps.
8/17/2006 2:01:44 AM
That's really sad.
8/17/2006 2:02:58 AM
8/17/2006 9:51:55 AM
I'm a conservative. I just hate listening to a broken record. This is not a partisan issue.
8/17/2006 9:53:36 AM
doesnt change the fact that damn near every left winger in the last 3 years has been a broken record for complaining about bush and the iraq war
8/17/2006 10:03:46 AM
I like to listen to Rush, but I wish he would get on the satellite radio bandwagon, or just simulcast on XM. I can't fucking stand listening to his show on those scratchy/terrible AM stations. Blech.
8/17/2006 10:09:59 AM
Pundits are for people who a)can't form their own opinions on the news or b)like to pat themselves on the back for agreeing with someone moderately famous.
8/17/2006 10:15:56 AM
.....or c) want entertainment. i have no problems with people listening to them.....but i do have a problem with people taking what they say as fact without any furthur research.[Edited on August 17, 2006 at 10:18 AM. Reason : f]
8/17/2006 10:16:51 AM
^that too, and thats the main problem. people who only belive global warming b/c al gore says so are just as bad as people every word that comes out of a pundit's mouth and takes it as the ultimate truth.oh, and as for rush:
8/17/2006 10:20:25 AM
i agree.
8/17/2006 10:22:12 AM
8/18/2006 7:39:47 AM
he seems to be straightforward with common sense ideas
8/18/2006 8:56:12 AM
i don't see why people don't just listen to/read the news and form their own opinions instead of letting pundits get them all riled up.
8/18/2006 9:12:12 AM
8/18/2006 9:31:25 AM
8/18/2006 12:18:24 PM
I like Rush. He's entertaining and probably the most talented radio host on the air. Too bad he uses his talent to make awful arguments in favor of an awful ideology.Savage can choke on a porkrind for all I care. I don't care if he's serious or not-- he's encouraging some severely ignorant people to become even worse. The man's in favor of Muslim concentration camps for God's sake, and people eat it up. I think it's an act, but doing this type of crap for the money is worse than if he were actually serious.O'Reilly and Hannity need to choke on Limbaugh's dick. They're hacks.
8/18/2006 12:30:55 PM
i used to listen to Rush with my dad when i was like around 10-12 years old. He was fun to listen to.Then I grew up.
8/18/2006 10:22:38 PM
And became 13?
8/18/2006 11:29:24 PM
I like to listen to savage every once in a while because he never sugar coats anything. Not to say i agree with him, but it is fun to listen to him argue with people, and say that he lives in "San fran-sissy-co"
