first round pick: Clinton Portis
8/14/2006 1:56:03 PM
ahh, he'll be back
8/14/2006 2:21:05 PM
yeah but we literally had our live draft yesterday afternoon then not 3 hours later his shoulderanyway we can all use this thread throughout the season to bitch
8/14/2006 2:21:49 PM
Im going with my #1 pick from last year again I thinkLT maybe L J depending on where I pick
8/14/2006 2:24:42 PM
if i had a top 3 pick i would pick LT first...and then alexander or LJ, whoever was there at 2nd or 3rd...but 4th man...wtf
8/14/2006 2:26:36 PM
I got pwnt the last two years by fucking Jamal Lewis. I will draft a backup kicker this year before I draft that thug ass bitch.
8/14/2006 2:28:04 PM
i got jamal lewis in the 12th round this year...EVERYBODY was skeptical...cant get burned too bad with a 12th round pick! but i picked him last year also...2nd round
8/14/2006 2:35:07 PM
Alexander is blowing his knee out this yearGreat season last yearBig new contractMadden 07 coverim calling it, and I wouldnt draft anyone from the fucking Seachickens
8/14/2006 2:37:35 PM
Yeah I have Porter as a Keeper right now but our draft hasn't come up yet so I might switch him out, not sure yet. They talk like this could be a nagging injury. Had high hopes for him with the new OC and everything.
8/14/2006 2:38:44 PM
I got him 4th overall in one of my leauges too.Hopefully he will be back soon.
8/14/2006 3:44:27 PM
whats everybody gonna do with Portis? Wait a couple days and see?
9/7/2006 12:19:08 PM
i was dumb enough to draft curtis martin and now i am short at RB. Should I even keep him in hopes of seeing him later?
9/7/2006 12:44:12 PM
is Kevin Barlow available? the 49ers traded him to the Jets...meaning Frank Gore is the starter for the 49ers...I believe Barlow is the starter for the Jets now...I personally wouldnt put too much stock in Curtis...getting old
9/7/2006 12:46:26 PM
HAHA I missed our draft for one of the Tdub leagues (got drunk and forgot), and it autopicked Clinton Portis, Ahman Green, and DOMANICK DAVIS. I had to drop Davis and there's really no one else out there right now. Portis might not play week 1 and Green plays the vaunted Bears D...plus he blows ass and will probably end up hurt too.
9/7/2006 12:49:40 PM
No Barlow is not free. I actually have Alexander and Frank Gore. I am in a 3 rb starting league and I have Blaylock on my team to replace Martin because Yahoo lists him at the starter as of today.
9/7/2006 12:50:05 PM
1-0 in both of my leagues!
9/12/2006 1:32:56 AM

9/12/2006 1:36:04 AM
chargers D scored a hundred points tonight. might be the highest of the week.
9/12/2006 3:33:03 AM
Not fantasy..but a pool... If Redskins won tonight i would have made 90 dollars on a $1.50...Fuck you kicker who's name I do not recall!!!
9/12/2006 4:08:01 AM
Hall is his name.
9/12/2006 10:40:26 AM
That sounds like my story ...
9/12/2006 10:41:18 AM
my underacheivers of the week: shaun alexander, steve smith (didn't have access to take him out), carson palmer, lamont jordan, and rod smith... i got absolutely murdered this week
9/12/2006 10:49:44 AM
oh, and i had frank gore on the bench
9/12/2006 10:50:40 AM
hardly any RBs scored this week
9/12/2006 11:01:11 AM
I had Gore in one league starting...won that leaguehad Rudi in another...won that league
9/12/2006 11:02:32 AM
im also 1-0 in both my leaguesi had 0 points from both of my running backs in one league......won that game
9/12/2006 1:27:28 PM
2-0 in both of my leaguesIf Hines Ward had caught that last pass last night I would've lost
9/19/2006 12:42:36 PM
Im 2-0 but Tiki and Shockey hardly got me any points. Im putting in Dunn for ATL this week against NO.
9/19/2006 1:04:34 PM
0-2 in my main leaguestarted big ben this week. would have won if i started rivers.
9/19/2006 1:07:16 PM

9/19/2006 1:09:55 PM
3-0 in each league going into this weekwon one of my leagues by fucking 0.4 points!!!and the other i'm down like 36.4 but I have McNabb left...he has to get like 4 TDs and 320 yards haha we'll see
10/2/2006 1:22:18 PM
pwnt by Rivers not throwing to McCardell
10/2/2006 1:23:55 PM
I was down 36 points going into last night but McNabb got me 38!4-0 in each league!
10/3/2006 9:54:07 AM
i got a FF question in reference to fumbles. If the quarterback goes to hand off to the running back, and the handoff is muffed, who's at fault for the fumble? It should be the qb right? Since he was the last player to technically have possession, it should reason that he gets credit for the fumble right?
10/3/2006 10:31:49 AM
thats what happened to mcnabb last night, and mcnabb got the fumblethx yahoo
10/3/2006 10:35:40 AM
favre did the same thing.....if he gets credit for the fumble, then i win by 2 in cbs sportsline, but if they credit morendcy for it, i'll tie. And tieing is not a favorable option
10/3/2006 10:37:04 AM
damn santana moss 35 pts.
10/3/2006 12:53:51 PM
I was up 4 going into last night's game and my opponent had favrehe only got 2 points lawlz
10/3/2006 3:10:11 PM
Vinitieri didn't play once again, even though yahoo said he would do fg'sLuckily my opponent was even more PWNT than I was. His 2 RB's and best WR: Ahman Green, Brian Westbrook, and Dante Stallworth.
10/3/2006 3:32:52 PM
haha, mattalica, i was almost in your same position except i was up 6
10/3/2006 4:04:08 PM
Guy in my league got 107 fantasy points on his bench and 48 on his starters. I know he felt like an idiot.
10/3/2006 4:23:25 PM
Although I was stupid and sat Portis, Hasselbeck single-handedly lost it for me this week. I got 34 pts from him last week and all I needed from him this week to win was 14. He only got 8.Even worse, I didn't realize until this week that 2 of my 3 RBs have a bye this week. Hasselbeck has a bye also and I'm forced to start Plummer against Baltimore [Edited on October 3, 2006 at 6:13 PM. Reason : ]
10/3/2006 6:12:36 PM
Starting QB: HasselbeckStarting RB: Westbrook <-- This pissed me off because everywhere said he was OK and was going to play come Monday[Edited on October 3, 2006 at 10:31 PM. Reason : typo]

Here's who I have left from my draft. Basically, my whole team is waiver wire players. I'm undefeated in my league.T. OwensW. ParkerW. DunnD. Williams V. MorencyK. Warner C. PenningtonK. McCardell M. that's how it always ends up working for me too, basically because i have too quick a trigger finger sometimes
10/3/2006 10:45:55 PM
^only one I regret dropping is Deangelo williams. Also, I dropped Berrian after picking him up for a week. I regret not trading Warner for Maroney 2 weeks ago.[Edited on October 3, 2006 at 10:48 PM. Reason : I also have the second most total points, behind guy with McNabb.]

Having Colston certainly helps One guy in a league I'm in has made differing offers for Frank Gore for three weeks running. So, halfway to be an ass, halfway to address my shaky WR position, I countered with:HE GETSHasselbeckStallworthGreg JenningsGoreI GETMarv HarrisonHoltColstonGrossmanThink I have a shot with this one? I sent the following note:"How badly do you want Frank Gore...? I have needs, too."His running backs are Kevin Faulk, Dominic Rhodes, and Julius Jones. I only played Gore in the opener; I have Steven Jackson, Rudi Johnson, Deuce McAllister, DeAngelo Williams, and Maurice Morris as my five RBs (start 2 + flex).[Edited on October 3, 2006 at 11:05 PM.
