8/11/2006 1:49:43 PM
i hear that Michigan State's Spartan Stadium is a vastly underrated venue and very loud.
8/11/2006 1:51:00 PM
correct, its very loud and underrated
8/11/2006 1:55:30 PM
Minnesota's always one of those teams that bash up the out-of-conference cupcakes and if they go 3-5 in conference it was a good year. That said, surprised they beat Michigan last year finally.Indiana and Illinois will suck, no surprise. For the second year in a row, Purdue does not have Michigan or Ohio State on the schedule. Someone explain this to me, there are 2 teams every year that a team will not play in Big 10 football. Does it make a lot of sense for those two in the same year to be both UM and OSU?[Edited on August 11, 2006 at 2:06 PM. Reason : /]
8/11/2006 2:00:21 PM

overrated... overrated...enjoy texas beating up on you
8/20/2006 1:59:14 PM
Too bad NCSU never has to worry about being overrated. Because you usually atleast need to be ranked for that to happen.
8/20/2006 3:17:56 PM
who wants to put money on OSU rolling all over Texas? I have a feeling their noob quarterback is gonna be flat on his ass all day long.
8/21/2006 10:01:57 AM
^ I thought you were an ECU guy?
8/21/2006 12:38:45 PM
^^^^So why are they overrated? Because they beat NCSU two years in a row and you still can't get over it? Yep, that has to be it.
8/21/2006 12:49:04 PM
they're overrated because they're too dumb a school to have their own messageboard like this so all the bandwagoners who never got a degree from OSU post here
8/21/2006 12:53:42 PM
I went to ECU but I'm from Ohio and my moms went to OSUoh, and I work for NCSU so I'm just all over the board ^oh, and good reason [Edited on August 21, 2006 at 1:22 PM. Reason : .]
8/21/2006 1:22:01 PM
the "what, your school doesnt have a message board so you have to post on TWW" works with anybody on TWW that posts about any school other than NCSU lol
8/21/2006 3:49:30 PM
sigh
8/21/2006 4:01:56 PM
haha, overrated AND they cheat, tressel is dirty
8/21/2006 6:00:27 PM
Every major college football team cheats you moron. So I guess OSU better at that too. They cheat and win, and isn't that the point of cheating....to win?

i'm interested to see how the akron - penn state game is going to be. i imagine that we will get a pretty good idea of what to expect from akron.
8/28/2006 6:25:08 PM
Perhaps Iowa should beat one of the worst teams in all of the BCS conferences today (of course Duke gets that honor of being the worst)? 7-0 cuse.[Edited on September 9, 2006 at 4:22 PM. Reason : x]

Michigan 1-0 4-0Ohio State 1-0 4-0Iowa 1-0 4-0Purdue 1-0 4-0Michigan State 0-0 3-1Northwestern 0-0 2-2Indiana 0-0 2-2Wisconsin 0-1 3-1Penn State 0-1 2-2Minnesota 0-1 2-2Illinois 0-1 1-3All three of the odds-on favorites are undefeated, with my Boilermakers joining them by temporarily masquerading as a good team. But oh well, bring on the Irish. And for the Buckeyes on here, I'm thinking Hawkeyes for the win. It's gonna be a great game. This coming week:Wisconsin @ IndianaIllinois @ Michigan StatePurdue @ #12 Notre DameNorthwestern @ Penn State#1 Ohio State @ #13 Iowa#6 Michigan @ MinnesotaI'm not really a Michigan hater (any more than any other Big 10 team anyway), but here's a song a Penn State fan passed on to me (for Ohio State fans to enjoy). "Hail to those Mother fuckers,Hail to those big cock suckers,HAIL! HAIL! To Michigan, the cesspool of the west.Hail to those fornicators,Hail to those masturbators,HAIL! no discussion? this is possibly huge news
2/20/2015 11:47:49 PM
If every conference did it, it wouldn't be a big deal and would help the quality of college sports (specifically basketball) overall. If only the Big Ten did it, it would be hilarious and their bball recruiting would take a huge hit. I wonder what Maryland thinks of the proposed rule?
2/21/2015 12:05:16 AM
Ahhh, the big ten. Always pining for the way things used to be. I mean, it's a great idea if you love watching the D-league. You might never see a guy in the high school top 25 play college basketball again if this got implementedFootball is a bit of a different story since there is no minor league football anywhere and almost no freshmen are ready to play in the NFL. I mean, even a super freak like Mario Williams or Julio Jones wouldn't have been drafted coming out of high school. It's a totally different universe physically even between college and the pros let alone high school. This proposal isn't even going to make it to a vote.
