The worst were the people who left Canes/Devils Game 2 during the last minute and missed Eric Staal scoring the game tying goal with three seconds left.
8/12/2006 1:17:00 AM
^YES and^^50 percent of the stadium cant use that excuse.
8/12/2006 1:24:47 AM
yea they can, why cant they?
8/12/2006 1:26:46 AM
^Because they don't have lives. How come the Clemson game last year in football was the only time people had those excuses?Surely it wasn't because we were getting our asses kicked.

i stayed most of the clemson game...im glad too because the dominos guy started selling those pizzas for like 2 bucks each
8/12/2006 1:47:43 AM
i stayed the whole game too, i had a booster sittin next to me RAISIN HELLplus the game was funny, im not one of the ones who leaves early but I dont bitch about those that choose to do so

Well during the clemson game, when our team was getting dominated in all aspects of the game, I understood people leaving even though I stayed. Its stupid for people to leave early when your team still has a decent chance to win though.
8/12/2006 10:37:55 AM
I've been known to leave games early mostly because I get piss drunk and its for everyones good
8/12/2006 12:13:50 PM
the best game ever was when state soccer tied unc with .8 seconds left in the game after unc scored with 10 seconds left. game ended in a tie but it was damned awesome anyways.
8/12/2006 12:28:26 PM
who cares, if people want to leave, whats the big deal? I wish sometimes I would've just walked out of a game instead of waiting to the last agonizing minute... especially with any Carolina loss

sorry, but im a firm believer in never leaving early...i sat in my seat for 20 minutes after Chris paul hit that shot.... 40 minutes after we lost to UNC by a bajillion points last year........until everyone was out of the dean dome last year after we gave up 13points.........every single home game of the panthers 1-15 season, including the home finale against New England in the rainthe list goes onits simple philosophy.true fans stay through it all, i like to think of myself as 1. (that sounded like Belushi in Animal House)

I think there's a huge difference between sticking out a tight game just in case of a miracle and hitting the bricks with 4 minutes to go when the team is down by a lot. There's also a difference between leaving a blowout early and leaving a blowout waaay early.
8/14/2006 12:20:06 PM
i drink the koolaid when we win, and i stay till the bitter end when we losei want to feel and remember every ounce of agony
8/14/2006 12:28:08 PM
I never ever leave early...and I left the Clemson game early b/c I needed to take my medication...which consisted of about 20 beers.
8/14/2006 1:05:35 PM
I paid for that seat that night and I'm staying the whole way through
