What is the minimum GPA you need to graduate with from the Business School? Not talking about overall GPA, but GPA in the business school? Is it a 2.0, 2.5? Anyone, thanks...

At least the first response was helpful *sigh*Here's your official answer:http://www.ncsu.edu/policies/academic_affairs/academic_progress/REG02.05.1.phpYou'll want to pay attention to the chart on the bottom, if you "entered the university as a regular degree seeking student for the first time prior to Second Summer Session 2004".

You're a sophomore, you've still got more than 2 years to get that GPA up to 2.0 to graduate.

If you cannot hold a 2.0 in business you are a complete retard and suck at life

Don't listen to these idiots. I had a 1.86 going into my junior year and I graduated no problem. Spend your time socializing and learning to talk to people, because that is a skill that is more valuable than any GPA will ever be. Sadly for them, few wolfweb people understand the value of people skills and choose to live their lives in caves making fun of successful people.

you're still an idiot if you can't get a 2.0 as a business major[Edited on August 11, 2006 at 10:23 AM. Reason : asdf]

They won't let you graduate if you don't meet your college's GPA requirement.I made it out thanks to a very understanding Professor who let me retake his final for a letter grade boost.Basically: Don't wait till the last minute.

while people skills are plenty good, a bad gpa can potentially get ur resume trashed long before it gets considered. best to just have a combo of the two and not worry about it.

i would hate looking for a job if my GPA was anything near a 2.0
8/13/2006 1:08:16 AM
I dont know many people who put their gpa on their resume.... I wouldnt feel too worried about it unless they want transcripts (who does)... but as for the 2.0 thing, I have noticed its mainly business majors who are always worried about getting the minimum possible to graduate and get a job. Anyone passionate about what they are doing will pull at least a 3.0

It's not all about what you make on the tests and how smart you are. There are alot of other things that can go on in life to make you struggle in school besides lack of intelligence.
8/13/2006 4:52:28 PM
like drug addiction
8/13/2006 5:25:21 PM
shrug, i know plenty of people who worked long-hour night shifts (including my father) and pulled off a better gpa than that (though admittedly it was no 3.75 or anything).[Edited on August 13, 2006 at 8:17 PM. Reason : .]

my current job with the Feds required a transcript...2.0 would not cut it....at least a 3
