this is a good place for someone who wants to feel more adult than the average college kid. like grad students or whatever.

i live in wildwoods apartments, but i gotta move now, and the lease runs through november 8, but of course you can month-to-month after that with a 40 day notice. the rent is $577/month, plus water, electric, and cable bills. no gas heat! i can't afford it by myself, but i sure wish i could. this place is great:
dishwasher
washer/dryer hookups (and i could possibly leave my washer and dryer for you)
garbage disposal
central air
new carpet
large rooms
large walk-in closet
couple of good size windows
big, big screened in porch with a storage closet (i'm on the bottom floor, so you can walk out the back easily)
quiet, mostly =)
i have never run out of hot water, and i have done 2 loads of laudry in a row and then we have taken 2 really long, steamy showers and washed the dog without running out!
good, clean, new fridge and stove with a decent amount of counter space in the kitchen and in the bathroom
coat closet, lol, i thought that was really exciting
assigned parking spots AND ample visitor parking spots

my apt already has a pet fee of $150 paid, and i have put down deposits on a cat and dog for $150 each, and the $150 people safety deposit. so it's very affordably pet friendly!

it's off jones franklin (out by crossroads) right next to 440. ten minute drive to campus. you can walk to/around lake johnson by a path behind the building next to mine. dumpster is a very short walk, but far enough from the building not to stink up your home. huge pool and hot tub right across the parking lot. garden plots right behind my porch.

it really is a nice place; wish i didn't have to move.

Not to hijack this thread, but I also have a room available in this complex. It is with two other guys. Rent is $315/month for that room with utilities split 3 ways. If you are interested in living in Wildwoods this could be another option.

it's got cement blocks in the walls between apartments, so inside it's quiet, but my neighbor talks on the phone on the porch all the time.
