Anyone else pick this one up today? After a few listens, I really enjoy it. Nice to have Dave Lombardo back in the band; Paul Bostaph is good, but Dave is in another league. They really surprised me after the horrid album "God Hates Us All."

For some reason, I have never been able to get behind anything Slayer. Flame away.

i liked seasons in the abyss, divine intervention was alright, and ive only listened to a song here and there from the rest (i didnt feel the need to buy any other ones). the 2 songs they've been playing on sirius dont overly impress me.

i'm on my first listen right now. it's definitely weird hearing them play the old-styled shit. if this had come out in 1987 then it would probably be a classic metal album. instead, it's a good album by a band that has been putting out sub-par records for the last 15 years. i like it quite a bit thus far, but i sort of doubt i'll listen to it at all in a year. i'll probably play the shit out of it for a few weeks, though.
