My little sister is getting a cell phone for her bday. We were going to add her to our existing plan with cingular, but I intend to leave them when my contract is up in March. I could add a line to our plan, but that line, regardless of the other lines, would be under a 2yr contract. Not happening.Really, all that matters is that she be able to make and receive calls, and send and receive text messages.I know of virgin mobile, cingular's go phone (not at all an option - $$$ for next to nothing). Verizon's montly prepaid plan isn't workable either. Alltel, Suncom, and Tmobile also are poor choices. What I'm finding is these $1/day for access plans won't be suitable.http://www.virginmobileusa.com/phones/phoneDetail.do?skuId=VM2125http://www.tracfone.com/double_minute_autopay.jsp?AID=DMA&codeVal=3these seem to be the best - anyone know of anything better/something I've overlooked?[Edited on August 7, 2006 at 2:36 PM. I used Virgin for a while and really liked it. It was easy to re-up on minutes and the rates were pretty reasonable.[Edited on August 7, 2006 at 2:38 PM. Reason : .]

Not Verizon, unless your friends and family already all use it (because you get free I calling)
