well the 'find' keyboard short-cuts are normal that you describe here.about the copy and pasting being disabled in your browsers at home and at work, i have no idea what that could be. uninstall/ install. also, do you have extensions that are not compatible with the current version of FF? this may cause a conflict, but i am just talking off the top of my head about that, but it is worth a thought.[Edited on August 7, 2006 at 2:23 PM. http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/keyboardBoth the apostrophe and forward slash are linked to the find function.Cut and paste bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=337662[Edited on August 7, 2006 at 3:15 PM. Reason : ]

^thanks.now how the fuck do i turn it off permanently/anticipate when it will activate find, or not activate find?I'm not seeing an option to turn off keyboard shortcuts, nor would I want to, so I guess I'd be looking for a 'manage keyboard shortcuts' deal, which i'm also not seeing.

i have those exact same problems once in a while. can not explain them, in fact its happening right now forcing me to type "can not" rather than the conjuction. so gay.

^^You can't. Sorrry https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57805If you're feeling ambitious....Firefox is open source, so you could build your own, special version.[Edited on August 7, 2006 at 3:51 PM. Reason : ]
