I'm talking about movies based on true historic events, which are for the most part accurate.I saw Der Untergang recently and was blown away. This movie is up there on my list now.

From the Earth to the Moon, the HBO miniseries that came out in 1998, is extremely good. It tells the story of the Apollo missions, and was inspired by Andrew Chaikin's book A Man on the Moon.Battle for Algiers is a must see.

To some of your discern, I doubt all the "movies" are going to be 100% accurate, it seems hollywoods time machines weren't invented in the past that could bring the actors into the future, it only works in reverse. It does make me furious![Edited on August 6, 2006 at 1:12 AM. Reason : Jay shermans of the world]
