They just sent me a solicitation for my resume ... from reading the website I know they have a strong base in France (perfume, durr) and in the US; the job offer is US. BUT! What I want to know is what is the company atmosphere? What is it like to work there? Stability? Benefits? What have you heard about them in the news, on the stock market, etc.? I'd like to learn more about them before I decide if I'm going to submit my resume.

There it a website called http://www.vault.com you can look up stuff about companies at. You might have to pay like $3.95 to access parts of the site, but other than that, I don't know much else.
