I don't know any places that will be playing it for sure but I imagine a few sports bar around Raleigh will show it.I think the CroCop/Silva fight is a toss-up, doesn't really matter who wins it b/c it's sure to be an entertaining fight. I also think that Silva vs. Nogueira would be a really interesting fight since Nog is one of the few guys who could submit Silva.Silva winning would be cool also b/c it would probably make a fight b/w he and Fedor that much more likely and Fedor vs. Silva would be a fight on Ali-Frazier proportions as far as MMA goes.

wow perhaps more importantly the WFA could net him toothat organization is taking big steps, at the rate the WFA is going by the time Pride makes its US debut, The Real Deal, most of their top fighters could actually be in the WFAwill make things real interesting, dicey between organizations but better for the sport(Marc Coleman might also be leaving for the WFA)[Edited on August 6, 2006 at 1:31 AM. I think I remember reading somewhere that CroCop had said that if he didn't win the Pride GP then he would retire. So who knows what he's gonna do after he's done with his vacation. All I know is that I hope if Pride loses its top fighters that they don't all run to UFC. I don't like the rules in UFC and the fenced octagon is for pussies. I'd rather see everybody go to K-1, or maybe WFA. And I'm sure Dana White and fans of UFC wouldn't be too happy to see all the top UFC guys get knocked the fuck out by the top Pride fighters, and Dana knows that the quality in the UFC is garbage compared to Pride so I don't know if he would even want to bring in a bunch of the Pride fighters. Especially since Dana seems content with just running new reality shows to find new blood instead of actually trying to find good fighters. But the future of WFA should be interesting and I wish them all the best, and I've always been a fan of Rampage.[Edited on August 6, 2006 at 2:32 PM. I think it would go as easily as he plans.I think Pride is head and shoulders above UFC in every single weight class, and I think the top 3 guys in each weightclass in Pride could beat the UFC belt holder in the same weightclass. But it most certainly would be awesome as hell, and the biggest thing in MMA history. Not to mention it would probably save the life of Pride and at the same time introduce Pride in a huge way to the States.[Edited on August 9, 2006 at 9:35 PM. Reason : yep]
