This laptop was the fastest that was made before the advent of the new MacBooks, and is still the smallest. The aluminum finish has NO noticable scratches, its all but spotless, and the display has no dead pixels. The thing could pratically be brand new. This laptop will get you hit on by hot girls whenever you break it out. (The last time I used it at Panera Bread I had FIVE girls come up and start chatting with me about it before I left!)Specs on the laptop:1.5GHz PowerPC G4 CPU512MB DDR333 SDRAM80GB Hard Drive12.1-inch TFT Display (1024x768 resolution)Slot-load SuperDriveNVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 (64MB DDR)10/100BASE-T EthernetFireWire 400Analog audio in/outMini-DVI out (DVI Breakout cable included)AirPort ExtremeBluetooth 2.0Sudden Motion Sensor (SMS)2x USB 2.0 ports56K modem (v.92) OS X 10.4 Tiger installediLife '05The battery holds good charge and lasts well past 3 hours. But when you're not traveling, you're going to want something a bit beefier on your desk, so also included are:Bookendz docking station for 12" PowerbooksThe docking station replicates all of the connectors and ports from the side of the 12" PowerBook and routes the connectors, through its unique design, to the back of the dock. The dock allows for all of the peripheral devices normally connected to the side of the PowerBook - Power, Ethernet, Modem, FireWire, USB, Mini- DVI, Audio In, Audio Out - to be plugged into the back of the dock, and remain plugged in, independent of the computer. Matches the PB's look and finish great.Apple 20" Widescreen Cinema Display1680x1050 resolution, built-in self powered USB 2.0 and firewire hubs. This thing is PRETTY. And it even matches the laptop. And yes, with it plugged in you can use both it and the laptop's display simulaneously! Also included:- Shiny full-size Apple keyboard for use with the dock.- Two power supplies for the laptop, one with a cord extension (one for the dock at home, one for the laptop bag!)I'd like to see at least $1500 for everything.

8/1/2006 12:14:35 PM
One was, the other four I'd definately hit it.

This is a pretty sweet deal including the display. The display is that much by itself.I am going with a new macbook pro...so good luck with your sale
8/1/2006 12:22:23 PM
How much for each?
8/1/2006 12:48:11 PM
How much for just the cinema display?
8/1/2006 1:19:36 PM
I'd highly prefer to sell this as a package deal . . . . but if I get firm offers for both the laptop and the display seperately I'll consider parting. Feel free to make offers on both, I'd be looking for around $600 for the display and around $1000 for the laptop and accessories.

bttt

If I were you I would also post on craigslist, as you would be more likely to find people with that kind of money. Also, State has a particularly small market for Macs when compared with other colleges in the area, so craigslist would also help out there. Really nice deal though, I absolutely love my 15" Powerbook, and that display is very nice.
8/1/2006 6:27:11 PM
I posted it on Craigslist at the same time that I did on here, heh.
8/1/2006 6:30:54 PM
how much for just the laptop
8/1/2006 6:59:40 PM
I will give you $500 for the display
8/1/2006 7:04:53 PM
dgm525: I already said $1000 for the laptop and accessories. If you want it without the dock and second power supply I'd do $900.BlackSheep: If I get a solid offer on the laptop as well then I might take that offer.[Edited on August 1, 2006 at 9:39 PM. Reason : .]

Eh, I'd rather not ship it. Plus my new business account doesn't have enough feedback yet.
8/2/2006 4:21:58 PM
have you given any more thought into just the display?
8/2/2006 7:46:57 PM
Yes, I've been considering it. However like I said I'd like to have a serious bid on the laptop as well before I sell the display seperately.
8/3/2006 2:23:01 PM
better sell it before WWDC happens.
8/3/2006 2:32:54 PM
why are you selling
8/3/2006 7:51:01 PM
Because I rarely use any of it.Btw, according to CoconutBattery the battery has been through 29 charge cycles and still holds 99% of its original capacity.
8/3/2006 8:37:09 PM
I'll start with 500 beans for just the laptop.
8/3/2006 11:46:44 PM
I already said what I'm asking for just the laptop.
