Yes, I went, and for the enjoyment I was so far from that point I was lost. let's start with the exhibits of reopened Fay street.

No 1. free food Fuck that, everything was 6.00 and up, unless you wanted to eat at a downtown diner, which all had newly printed menus ( howwwww convenient ). The beer & the wine sampling was 10.00, very good, if you like getting samples for money.

No 2. Parade, what was that horseshit, a black marching band, and a what, the weatherman, I could've dug up better celebrities to ride vertically on a mustang.

No 3. Holy shit, blacks, homeless, I swear they're everywhere, it's like a swarm. Some unshaped plum kept bumping into me every 5 seconds, if the smell didn't bother me the 25 + kids that followed them everywhere did.

No 4. Every stand sold gumbo, I'm glad hurricane katrina poured some of it's shit in our cups. The new orleans resturaunt or 50 was kind of cool, tho. SURE HELPS OUT WITH THE CROWD.

No 5. A fucking street, awesome, there's like 2 gazillion in the fucking earth, someone must turn the porta potty upside down and let the inhabitants out everytime one of them opens?

the "black marching band" was helping hand mission. they been the crowd fav at the cristmas parade forever. you are not raleighish if you dont appreciate them. the event may have sucked they could of had cooler bands and stuff btu it was all privately funded and no tazes went into ti so pay for food. they need a jumbotron out there like orlando and ny i love the abcticker (old i no). this isnt just any street its nc main street holmes.
