Im moving up there in a few months, looking to get a beach house...any suggestions on places to live...preferably non-ghetto!

anywhere along shore drive and the oceanfront are nice. Specifically between 60th and 85th street the houses are a little farther apart, bigger, and nice looking. Prices are rediculously high for that area though so you might want to check out some of the new developments along shore drive which runs through the bay area.

Interested in a condo? Because there are a ton of those being built right along the water. My friend's parents just bought a 2000sq' 3 - bedroom top floor condo along shore drive and paid $2 mil for it. It is a beautiful place though. Good luck! You will love it up there.
