I am picking up an 01 929rr erion tomorrow and wondering if you guys had any suggestions on maitnence I should do after getting it. its a 2001 with only 5500 miles on it. brand new tires, chain looks good (sags as it should). everything looks and sounds ok on it. I am getting this after riding an 03 F4i for a couple years and I know its going to be a big power upgrade, same weight as the F4i, but 329cc more power! any input would be great! thanks!

well, if it was me i'd do jack shit and ride the piss out of it. but, if you really want to do something, i'd suggest oil change, plugs, and air filter.

i doubt those have been touched in 5 or so yrs

but really you could just ride it and be fine, but those are suggested every couple of yrs i think

with the F4i, I bought it new and did routine maint. with this it is 5 years old and I have no clue what has and hasn't been done. just asking for some things to look out for.

i picked it up last friday and this fucker is a beast.
