My exhaust makes some weird noises. I had someone look at it about a year ago and they said it was the part that controls the sound of the exhaust...the pitch of whatever. He said there was some loose metal in there which would be consistent with the sounds I hear. He said it would be around $700 to fix. I'm hoping to get a second (hopefully free) diagnosis, and maybe get the work done. Where should I go? Or any ideas on this problem would be great too.

SHIT NAW. You need to go see Bob or Henry. They'll hook you up. Where in the fuck did you go when you had it looked at?

I figured not. precision tune on western about a year ago. the guy who looked at it was their lead mechanic and knew his shit but must have been mistaken about something. i'm 99.9% sure he wasn't lying about it or anything cause he had hooked me up with free/deeply discounted service a few times.
