'92 Civic, driver's window is derailed. Lifter still works, but it's a bitch to actually close the window. I hear that it's a real simple fix, just time consuming (to open up the door and all). Anyone?

its not really even time consuming...just figure out how to get your door panel off without breaking any (many) of the connectors and then fiddle with the mechanism a bit. you should be able to see how it fits together

OK, so it's not especially difficult?Any tools I'll need other than, like, phillips driver and pliers?

i really don't know what honda uses for door clips but you might want the tool for themits basically just a flat piece of metal with a grove cut in it

you'll need something like this:http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=all&item_ID=65934&group_ID=16963&store=snapon-store&dir=catalogyou obviously do not need to get the snap-on version. sears should have one in the tool section. advance/auto zone/pep boys/napa/carquest may also have something similar.
