^ way to support your man For a freshman project I'd say its impressive; throw that in any retail store just like it is and it will sell.

As long as they don't come back and try to put up a concrete "pavilion" in one of the few remaining spots where there is actually grass on our campus

Nice, good to see some cred coming from our Industrial Design department. As a sidenote, one of my classmates just won the Babeland Sex Toy Contest (her entry was the Duette ring)http://www.babeland.com/sex-toy-contest/duette-ringAnd there are an amazing number of really cool designs and projects coming out of the department. You can check out a bunch of other people's portfolios and work online at our student site here:http://www.ncsuidsa.org/gallery/main.php

I was pretty shocked to see this on Engadget this morning, Makeblog picked it up when I first finished the project, but I thought that was going to be it. Awesome surprise. The iBar (except for it's name) is amazing. Mine came in at a 'slightly' smaller budget though, I'm sure. Most of all, I am excited to see the College of Design, and the school as a whole, get some recognition on a site like Engadget. I'd like to echo Neon... check out those links and see what the department is up to. There's a lot more going on than my freshman fundamentals project.
