I just recently bought a black molly, and today I saw that it had babies. I've counted nine so far and put them in a separate tank, but I don't really know much about them. Does anyone have any advice?

get some riccia (floating plant), let it float on the surface, the babies will live and also eat it. get some of the liquid livebearer food. if your lucky you may have 1 survive, the odds arent good. I may have some riccia in my tank I can give ya if you need it. what size tank are they in now?

From what I recall mollies are basically the tiny cheap fish equivalent of bunnies.

Taikimoto: I actually found about 20 more hiding within the rocks when I was cleaning out the tank, so the count's up to about 30. Right now, I separated them from the mother and other fish into a 2.5 gallon tank (temporary). And I'm in Charlotte until August, so I'll pick some riccia up around here. Thank you for your help!
