My mom's birthday is August 1st. I'm trying to figure out a good gift for her that I can afford.I've thought about a professional massage for her. We just recently got our old house on the market and she did most of the painting, etc for it. So something like that might be nice for her, or something else in a spa.She lives in Greensboro and I'm going to be going home next weekend (so I'll have to give her whatever gift early). Ideas?

Ten Thousand Villages is a shop in Cameron Village with some really awesome gift stuff. If you decide to go with an item rather than a service, that may be a good place to go.

I think single massages began at 60-75/hr or similar when I was looking into them for my husband.

Indigo the Salon is very good. A little on the pricey side. They started as mainly a hair place, but added massages and facials and the like around last year.

I have heard Balance Day Spa is a great spa in Gboro. Its off Battleground Ave heading towards downtown in a shopping center near Lawndale. here's the website:http://www.balancedayspa.com/
