that people seem to neglect in Raleigh?

At lunch we go out every day, I'm trying to find new places to go, as i'm sick of Mojoe's and Armadillo Grill, etc.

Any ideas?

if you're talking about downtown(that's where I work so that's where I know)- Side Street Deli, anywhere at city market except Woody's, Carolina Cafe and Bakery- Fayetteville Street, the Capitol Room... just a few places we go.

try Zely & Ritz for lunch. Price is same as Mojoe's etc, and the food is much better. Dinner is great but pricey

Hard Times Cafe - chili is their main thing, which is good, and the prices are cheap
Mellow Mushroom - slice and salad is cheap
Oakwood Cafe - cuban/argentinian at a good price
Caffe Luna - dinner is very reasonable here too
Bali Hai - its on the southern tip of Wake Forest Rd so not far from downtown, its a mongolian grill
Riviera - new restaurant, small plates make for great lunches

^Ole time BBQ on Hillsbourgh out by wolfcreek, and there is a joint downtown, and both are dank as fuck.

You want a fucking great place that is cheap, go to the Roast Grill. They only serve hot dogs, but they are heavenly.

I could always post a thread about someone else feeding my dog. Or another thread about some lame frat party I was at, or some new cellphone I got...

But hey, thats just me!

a few good places that haven't been mentioned yet:

downtown:
Angelo's in city market (go for the greek plate)
Clyde Cooper's Barbecue (been in the same location for like, forever)
Dakota Grill (bison burgers)
Joe's (southern cooking, all you can eat vegetable special, awesome sandwiches)
American Grill? (across fayetteville st from cafe carolina)

glenwood south:
Cody's Bistro (chinese and thai)

boylan heights:
moonlight pizza

That place is good, but its technically not downtown. I think he meant Clyde Cooper's Barbecue.
