I did a show in the ones across the street (not sure if those are the ones you mean) and the folks who lived there really seemed to enjoy everything about the building. If you can deal with creaky floors and a lack of finish it seems pretty sweet.

my cousin and some friends used to live there. the people that live there are mostly alternative and really cool. i'm pretty sure they have wood floors, and i seem to remember no air conditioning, at least not central air.

cameron court down on the other side of hillsborough offers a lot of the same kind of atmosphere. big ass windows, old bldgs, and hardwood floors. i love it here.
