I got a book on CD from the local library & one of the tracks in the middle of the book has something wrong with it. It'll play fine until about the last 10 seconds of the track.

I was wondering if there was a way I could take that track & edit it so I capture only the good part of the track (I'd rather do without 10 seconds of the story then 5+min)

I have a mac & I'm unable to upload the track to itunes completely.

i've never tried to do this before & dont know much about it in the first place & would appreciate any suggestions or help

my goal is to edit out the bad part of this track & upload the edited version onto my ipod so i can listen to it along with the rest of the book
