7/15/2006 12:39:46 AM

7/15/2006 12:42:16 AM
$5 is pretty standard for parties I've been to. Usually there's more than 20 people too...
7/15/2006 12:47:32 AM
I never chargedAnd I threw great partiesBut I am not very hot and I don't put out
7/16/2006 11:05:59 PM
7/16/2006 11:07:51 PM
BEWARE SHE'S A HORSE but i'd pay to see a typing horse
7/16/2006 11:09:05 PM
5 is standard. no change no fuss just beer.
7/17/2006 1:22:38 AM
^^ i'd pay at least $5 to see a typing horse.
7/17/2006 1:24:52 AM
What a stupid thread, 5 bucks is standard (ever been to a kegger before). If your 25 and your friends think 5 bucks is too much then wow.[Edited on July 17, 2006 at 1:33 AM. Reason : .]
7/17/2006 1:32:44 AM
i didnt wanna be rude but dont wanna go broke having a kegger ya know
7/18/2006 5:20:00 PM
i'll pay for the beer if you gimme one hot blonde to have sex with
7/18/2006 5:21:03 PM
5 is standardmore if your provide food, entertainment and shit like that
7/18/2006 5:21:38 PM
If you have 20 people pay 5 buck = 100 bucks.Which will get you a shit keg, shell, ice and cups. If you want anything other than PBR, bud light or busch, either invite more people or prepare to lose some $$
7/18/2006 5:23:30 PM
Hi officer, can I come to your party too?
7/18/2006 5:46:36 PM
huh?
7/18/2006 5:47:30 PM
Youre trying so hard. You should scour the internet for a picture of a girl holding a news and observer.
7/18/2006 5:48:28 PM
fuck you silly ass
7/18/2006 5:48:36 PM
if ur hawt IRL can I come to the p00l party
7/18/2006 5:50:52 PM
From plently of experience, and mostly just trying to break even. With 20 people I would charge $5 like eveyone else says, you wont go broke, and your prob break even, but i highly doubt you'll make money...unless like you say your hot. It usually takes 50+ ppl at a party to make money when u consider buying to cups, ice, etc., and thats when we discout cups to $3. Hope this helps.
7/18/2006 5:55:42 PM
I don't ever charge people for drinks. I mean if you live with a few people its not that much money and it makes you a better host.
7/18/2006 5:57:49 PM
^ thats usually what i end up doin, but it sounds like she doesnt want to lose that much. Everytime i have ppl over, im out about $60 bucks guaranteed...Sucks, but my friends love me, and i have that extra job pretty much just to pay for shit like that
7/18/2006 6:09:10 PM
we always made money with our parties but we are just awesome like that
7/18/2006 8:31:19 PM
wait a sec. you are throwing a party and hosting a keg and you want to charge per cup? i thought that shit ended in high school when parents were away. i hope these people coming aren't your friends.
7/18/2006 9:27:24 PM
just 5 dollars to drink as much as you wnat silly ass
7/20/2006 2:33:27 PM
silly ass
7/20/2006 2:43:01 PM
pm me your address for the party
7/20/2006 2:44:16 PM
don't server to underagers or you'll have to arrest yourself. [Edited on July 20, 2006 at 2:56 PM. Reason : wouldn't that be awkward]

If you're going to the "party," print this and put it in your pocket......EntrapmentIn criminal law, an affirmative defense created either by statute or by court decision which excuses a defendant from criminal liability for crimes induced by certain governmental persuasion or trickery. The prevailing "subjective" view of entrapment requires that the particular defendant demonstrate that but for the objectionable police conduct, he would not have committed the crime. This means that the predisposition of the defendant to commit the offense must be balanced against the police conduct to determine whether the police can be said to have caused the crime. The "objective" test favored by only a minority of the U.S. Supreme Court justices in 1932 and again in 1973 (but recommended by the Model Penal Code 2.13(1)(b)) looks solely to the police conduct to determine if an ordinary, law-abiding citizen would have been persuaded to commit the crime.[Edited on July 20, 2006 at 4:53 PM. Reason : And don't forget to retain a lawyer.]

Charging for cups/beer/watever is against the law and you risk arrest for doing it. It's classified as selling alcohol without a license. I know everyone does it, but you at least need to be informed of the risks. More so considering that you've announced your plans to break the law on a public message board. Good luck with the party and watch your corn hole should you end up in lockup.
7/20/2006 5:19:59 PM
They could charge you with more than five dollars if they find you guilty of something like that.
7/20/2006 5:25:07 PM
Hi packbackchic. I have an actual liquor license. For safety purposes you may want me to purchase and distribute the beer for you (just in case).
7/20/2006 5:31:27 PM
7/20/2006 5:36:25 PM
You're 25 and still charging people for cups?Christ.
7/21/2006 6:27:00 AM
OH NO! trying to recoup your costs for a keg! that's like SOOOO immature!
7/21/2006 6:44:43 AM
Yeah, it is. Once you reach a certain age, you start to appreciate the fact that you can entertain people in your home, and enjoy their company instead of worrying about if you're going to break even on a keg. To be even more poignant, $150 is not a lot of money for one person to spend to entertain people in their home, a 20 person gathering isn't a keg affair, and it certainly isn't an affair you charge $5 a cup for.

its nice to be out of school and not be poor anymore.when we have parties, we dont charge anything. its less hastle, and we'll be repaid by going to other parties and not paying.^agreed.
