http://www.washingtonpost.com/blackmenThis is an ongoing series in the Washington Post. I think it has some good stuff to discuss. Here's some interesting stories and discussion transcripts:"At the Corner of Progress and Peril"http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/06/01/AR2006060102184.htmlhttp://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/discussion/2006/06/01/DI2006060101171.htmlThe initial column that started the series and its discussion."Poll Reveals a Contradictory Portrait Shaded With Promise and Doubt"http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/06/03/AR2006060300695.htmlhttp://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/discussion/2006/06/02/DI2006060201012.htmlAn analysis and discussion of a nationwide poll amongst all people concerning black men."For the Love Of Ballou"http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/06/22/AR2006062201657.htmlhttp://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/discussion/2006/06/22/DI2006062200696.htmlTwo black high school seniors who are valedictorian and salutatorians of their high school.A discussion about interracial relationshiphttp://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/discussion/2006/06/08/DI2006060800820.htmlThe discussion transcripts raise some interesting comments and objections about the study and its articles, so they're worth reading too.

Why didn't somebody alert the Washington Post that the concept of race is meaningless? Where's joe_schmoe when you need him?

Prawn Star, race is a social construct but that doesn't make it meaningless. The one about "black men in interracial relationships" is superficial. Not interesting at all.
