I know theyre double A, which is a whole different ballgame, but our defense is decimated. Who wins and whats the score?

[NO]NCSU - 53ASU - 10
7/9/2006 12:17:40 PM
not at all. we will destroy them. we (and the team) should be more concerned about the following games than app state.
7/9/2006 12:23:48 PM
you people .......
7/9/2006 12:25:09 PM
September should be a good tune up for the rest of the season.
7/9/2006 12:25:27 PM
Good thing there isn't a thread EXACTLY counting down the number of days until this game. NCSU 31ASU 17Score will be closer than the game really will be played.
7/9/2006 12:27:29 PM
NCSU 14ASU 29
7/9/2006 12:30:05 PM
We have lost some talent, but ASU is not the same team that won the NC last season either. I agree with ^. It will be closer than the score mainly because we will play a typically conservative gameplan to limit scouting tape for future opponents.
7/9/2006 12:31:35 PM
NCSU 38App 4

I know we lost a lot of good talent on Defense...but we have a lot remaining as well (as well as new guys). I don't think our defense will wane too much from last year.
7/9/2006 1:02:39 PM
not worried at all...we're not going to destroy them though, not like a decent 1a team should...it'll probably be like 35-10 (maybe 14)... dominating, but not a fully on blowout...

7/9/2006 1:51:56 PM
yea while we actually worry about how app could beat us, one of the best players in their recent history, Richie Williams, was rated BELOW jay davis going into last years draft. Akron and S. Miss afterwards should be the games to look towards.
7/9/2006 1:54:45 PM
I agree, it will be a lot closer than it should beNC State - 24App. State - 14
7/9/2006 1:55:16 PM
it'll be like the southern miss game last seasonaka the most painful and drawn out win i've ever seenthe way we played we should have lost that game
7/9/2006 2:04:13 PM
We should be able to run all over them. Their good DEs are both gone, right?I'm not confident yet that we could mount an air attack against a team of 11 blocking sleds, though. Time will tell.[Edited on July 9, 2006 at 2:14 PM. Reason : -]

you fucking noobnever mind the 8 page thread about this very gamemessage_topic.aspx?topic=395271

NO! I'm not worried.
7/9/2006 3:18:02 PM
You have to remember that just about everyone on that team is players that didn't get Division I offers. We should kill them. They'll be lucky to put up 10-17 points on us. We should put up a whole lot more. I realize they're the best Division II team (or were), but that's still in a entirely different league
7/9/2006 3:59:26 PM
they are division 1 dude.
7/9/2006 6:13:43 PM
Furman beat the dogshit out of UNC a few years ago... that being said, UNC didnt do anything particularly well that season... we have one of the best running backs in the history of humans... i cant see them beating us simply because of him..

whos is teh greatest rb ur talking about. brown or baker?
7/10/2006 1:04:23 AM
Ted Brown?
7/10/2006 1:06:18 AM
No. My expectations are so low that any win this year will be a pleasant surprise. Low expectations got me through last year and they are even lower for this year.I'm only nervous about one game. The next time we play Duke. They should come out with some sort of trophy for this match-up. Maybe an ACC totem pole where your mascot's head gets to be just above the one on the bottom (loser).
7/10/2006 12:56:16 PM
heh
7/10/2006 1:27:11 PM
Why does this thread still exist?
7/10/2006 1:36:02 PM
my question is: why was "nervous" capitalized but "about" wasn't?
