I'm borrowing free wireless from my apartment complex for a month before I move and I'd like to continue to be able to use Remote Desktop. Before, I had my own cable modem/router and simply setup port forwarding as needed. Because I'm borrowing the free wireless at the moment ... can't get access to the router to setup port forwarding.Ideas?

Does their router have any open ports? Can you scan it for open ports? If you find one you might be able to use it by changing the port remote desktop listens on.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306759/

have you tried to get access to the routerif you can "borrow" it, then you most likely you should be able to get to the settings using the default password
