I'm looking for an address book program that is portable (i.e. stand alone that can be run off of a usb stick). For windows and free (no shareware). Suggestions?

whatever. Thunderbird is a small, self contained (free) app that happens to include a decent address book, even if you don't want to use the mail functionality.

The point is, its not thunderbird's main purpose to store/lookup contacts.

You asked a question, were given a valid option for a solution, and in turn, acted like a prick to the person trying to help you. Good luck receiving further help here, asshole.

El Burrito: Thanks for you input, but my response was warrented. Its not like I got mad and called him an asshole. Lets say you ask for a hand gun. Somebody gives you a tank. Its *a* solution but not the best one. Troll elsewhere faggot.

how do you know it's not the "best" one? you obviously don't know of anything better yet, or you wouldn't have asked, and it's certainly the best solution that's been offered thus far.
your comparison to installing Windows was unwarranted and irrelevant.

Oh, I'm not trying to troll.

Just sincerely hoping that you receive no further help from this thread because of your childish behavior.

You asked for suggestions. You got some. You behaved like a little bitch. Am I missing something?

I might need to get a reference on this, but you are trolling. You say I'm crying like a bitch, when you come out of nowhere and try to call me out without contributing to the thread.
