yeah there's nobody who checks your ticket when you go to sit down

so you can sit anywhere that's empty

you could try calling the box office to ask if they've sold out

and I don't mind the lawn seats, the biggest problem is that the sun will be in your eyes for a while until it goes down

I was out there last night for the game and fireworks show. I bought tickets online and got in the 213 section, which were the "best available" seats left according to their online system. There were a ton of seats open during the game last night, so maybe tonight will be the same and you can eventually move into some seats. I'm guessing a lot of season ticket holders didn't show up??? Nobody ever checked our tickets, so I think you could get away with it. The fireworks were pretty good too.

^sounds like the best plan. im sure it'll be a very large crowd, but not sold out or anything.

Went last night. They had fireworks after the game that I was fairly impressed with. They were saying last night that tonights fireworks were going to be much longer.

$5 beers
$6 tickets for behind right field (best in the house imo)

Plus last nights game ended up being a really good baseball game. The shortstop for the Skychiefs is really good and BJ Upton and D. Young for us are amazing minor league players. Enjoy yourself.

damn, don't think we're gonna make it. a friend of mine gave me 4 tickets from the June 14th game that he didnt use and said you could trade them in. i called bullshit on it but called the ticket office and they said if I was going to do that, i'd better get out there ASAP because the lawn seats were just about sold out. tick. office did say that if i wanted to trade the 6/14 tickets in for tomorrow night's game then i could get great seats, but tonight is just a mad house out there.

i was lookin forward to some baseball, beer and fireworks. oh well..

any other ideas

The grass seats would kind've suck for the actual fireworks. They shoot them off right behind the wall by the grass seats. I guess it could be cool because it might be loud as hell but other than that you would have a really painful neck after a while I would imagine.

You could always get the tickets and grab a spot in an empty seat though. I'm sure it's going to be sold out but there are always empty seats where the season ticket holders don't show.
