for the 4th? Is it lame or actually worth going to?

i've just gone and parked at the vet school to watch the fireworks. That is usually a decent show.

the few times i've been, it has actually been worse than the surrounding shows, ie. garner, cary, etc.... i dunno why... but they didn't have as many fireworks it seemed. but it is still pretty decent

how about the daytime activities? Anybody been to those? or is it better to just go for the fireworks?

are they in the same spot as they are for the fair? cause if so, i have the perfect view from the front of my house (people in my neighborhood actually drove up to my street to watch them during the fair)- might make chillin out here and grillin that much more enticing

I saw the Raleigh show in our magazine earlier this week. It's not huge, but it's respectable.
