i'm setting up a wireless router at my g/f's place (Belkin 802.11b) and it sets up perfectly for when there is no encryption. however, when i put a WEP password on it and try to access the network, it takes a long time to connect and when it does it says there is limited connectivity. now i dont understand this because even when i do a repair it still doesnt work. there is no updated firmware as i've checked. what could be the problem with the encryption?

Are you using Windows wireless? If you are, 95% sure that's your problem. Download whatever the actual software is for your wireless card and use it instead.

You sure you have the key correct? That's exactly what happens when you use an incorrect key. Doublecheck that and see if it's correct.
