No, removing sections of the video, first 10 minutes, last 10 minutes, middle 5 minutes, etc.

I get the error Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'XVID' (unkown)VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompres video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.....?

Well I was able to pull out a section of a 340mb file and 2 pass re-encode it down to 55mb, which is about what I was looking for, excpet the audio was off by about 2 seconds First time I have ever done any real video work, makes me realize how sluggish my 3800 Venice really is.
