Since I've been using this with XP pro and I don't have original xp home disks I will put your choice of the vista beta or a custom xp home sp2 slipstreamed iso on here. BIOS has been updated to support sp2.

6/27/2006 11:58:35 AM
Once again, what's wrong with video? Is it working at all? Some artifacts in games or what?
6/27/2006 12:59:59 PM
someone would have to upgrade the hdd if they want a gaming laptop, so you should figure that into the price20 gb might be suitable 6 or 7 decent games/programs
6/27/2006 1:15:25 PM
not to mention the 64MB video card... wouldn't be able to run any games that came out in the past year or 2 at playable framerates.

Let me specify... Doom3, Q4, Oblivion...HL2, WoW, and UT2K4 are older and more CPU intensive.
6/30/2006 7:23:07 AM
^Doom3, Q4, Oblivion, HL2, WOW, and UT2k4 all can work on that laptop. You just have to sacrifice some visuals for faster performance like running Oblivion at 640x480 or whatever is the smallest size. But it does work.
6/30/2006 8:34:59 AM
Yes, I agree, they will work. IMO I couldn't play any of those games at 640x680. Especially Oblivion where you have to see what's coming.[Edited on June 30, 2006 at 9:21 AM. Reason : I'm a little spoiled with a 6800go 256mb laptop and a 7800gt x 2 SLI desktop setup ]
6/30/2006 9:18:43 AM
I can play oblivion at 1024x768 on the laptop with a decent framerate (don't know how to turn it on to check). Never bothered with q4 and d3 because they have shitty multiplayer modes. That said, laptop is still for sale.

entertaining offers, do I hear $450?
