looking between the ft-3 and the r7 460 and r7 425... have a tendency to push slice, so i'm looking for a club with a little more draw bias, and have narrowed it down to these.... not to mention they have a great deal where you buy the driver and get a free fairway wood.... thoughts?

I've got an r7 quad ht, and love it. They're not the longest club in the world, but they're damn accurate.

^i think it just shifts weights. On a side note the r500 series drivers are on sale for $150 down from $400 since the r7 came out. which is what i bought

The head came off my cheap $40 Dicks sporting goods Dunlap driver last weekend. A guy at work is actually going to get it glued back on for me. He said why now get a new one. If I could hit straight with that broken driver then we'll see until then I can spend that kind of cash on any new golf club. One of my biggest problems on my drive swing is mine is more like a baseball swing, too much horrizontal then I end up coming across the ball.

just bought a r7 460...it's huge off the tee and it plays a soft draw for me which is what you might be wanting. you can shift the weight in it to change the shot shape. it is kinda pricy like cali said but i got a good deal on ebay

well i settled on the ft-3... i was hitting about 20-30 yards farther than the r7... and the r7 gave me crazy amounts of backspin....

anyone know a good place to get your swing analyzed by someone that knows what they are talking about without spending a fortune

Golf Galaxy... 39.99 for a launch monitor (Vector) fitting with a driver. Or you can hit in the big simulator for free, but it is not nearly as accurate.also 29.99 for an introductory lesson with a PGA pro in-store.[Edited on June 21, 2006 at 8:24 PM. Reason : Vector fitting will be with a certified associate.]

actually the ft-3 replaced the 454.... it was an 8* with firm flex... not my cup of tea since it magnified any swing flaws...
