probably not, 88-91 3.0 and 3.8L used the AOXD, and 92-99 3.0 and 3.8 used the AOXDE, you need to find a 88-90 3.8/3.0 sable or 88-90 3.8/3.0 taurus,

Look for a Volvo 740/760/840/960 fan. Two speeds. But usually pricy.

If it's in decent shape, it'd be great.

Cheap as fuck to fix. And damn easy too.

Negatives: you're pumping out some nasty fumes. Your gas mileage will suck. Most likely does NOT have working AC (and will require a very pricy retrofit to work correctly if it has AC at all).

But will be one smooth ride.
