some people don't know that it's actually required by law to have your lights on while raining

if have to use your wipers, your lights should be on basically

[Edited on June 14, 2006 at 10:09 AM. Reason : in nc at least...i don't give a fuck what sc does Ø]

the actual NC code paraphrased is that if your windshield wipers are functioning, your lights should be on

so technically if you have rain-x or something, and you're not using your windshield wipers, you wouldnt be in violation of that particular law, but you could probably still be pulled over for wreckless driving or public endangerment or something

it's really stupid not to have them on if it's raining

turning your lights on isnt always for your own benefit, especially in this rain when no one can see you when you dont have your lights on

Some idiot on Tryon Rd near Avent Ferry this morning was just sitting there in the middle of the lane. Apparently his car had died on him, poor bloke didn't even have his blinkers on or anything. Just waiting to be killed/rear-ended.

i usually run my lights ALL of the time. i've noticed a significant reduction in the amout of people that pull out in front of me. however, there are times i forget to turn on my lights even when it's raining.

same morons who do under the speed limit in the left lane bc it is raining.

i cut this guy off yesterday doing like 50 in a 65 section of the beltline in the left lane, which is usually 70-75. he tried to highbeam me, then realized his lights werent on, so he then turned them on, then high beamed me. but by then i was too far past him to care. i laffed.
