theres already enough chatter that pelosi is not going to have an easy cake walk to itand if november isn't BOFFO for the dems she definitely won't get itmight as well be murtha

yeah but murtha was pelosi's ace in the hole for so long, he was supposedly a "friend" and one of the few "no shit" vets who could stand up credibly and say "what the fuck are we doing in iraq"...combined with the p-losi's "culture" campaign...doesn't exactly project a unified front...i mean if you're a dem rep. right now, what the fuck are you supposed to do? it looks really good in nov if dems make gains and the troops come out and youre in murtha's camp, but who the fuck cares what pelosi says now? and she's supposed to be top dog...never mind her fumble with the whole william jefferson thing, i mean way to do the exact opposite of what you've been trying to do the whole year

yep...its one of the reasons i'm worried about november...this whole discussion will probably be moot

i hope he goes to the dodgers

In the extremely unlikely event that the Democrats win the majority, Pelosi would be Speakeress, not majority leader. Majority leader is the second in command.

im fully aware of thatthe point is, pelosi and murtha was pelosimurtha for a while now,and with steny hoyer thinking that like pelosi, he's owed the position for his "years of service" to the minority, this shows some fantastic signs of infighting
