it works on all hair, public and private.

you might want to get a post-nair lotion if you are using it on private hair, it can irritate the area.

I think there is a reason more people don't do this and it's probably because that shit will burn your vagina like the herp.

But I could be wrong, try it out.

yea, so far this is the best method Ive found- just be careful with sensitive areas
it sure beats the heck out of shaving
for those who suggest waxing- its obvious they just dont get it

Try putting a small dab on your area and see how it works.

For me, veet is better than nair for down there but I suggest just testing a little spot first, everyone is different. I perfer waxing though and the only place around here I go is the Von Kekel Salon in Cary, they have the best wax.

^^^^you have to use the good stuff, cheap wax hurts like a bitch and makes it irritated, and someone who knows what they are doing is really important also. Veet is good for just a few days, I just slather it and wait a few minutes.

^every time I've had it waxed I've had it done at salons (I don't trust myself with ripping out my pubic hair with hot wax)

The last two times has been at Skin Sense, which is a great salon imo....so I dunno why my skin seeks revenge on me so visciously after a waxing encounter

If you can't wax without problems, Nair will be worse. It's a chemical burn waiting to happen and I think it's worse than shaving. It breaks hair off at the surface. With a good blade at least you'll have a clean cut and not a ragged, burned hair.

SkinSense is hit or miss for waxing because some people there lack training or experience. Go to Betty @ B. Roman Day Spa and tell her I sent you. Do touch ups every two weeks (you can do those at home after a professional does you the first time-- try Sally Hansen's allover hair removal kit) if your hair grows back fast.

If a full bikini wax is painful and your skin is burned or bruised, your therapist's doing something wrong.

It doesn't work well at all if you do it per directions... however, if you use it longer or in greater quantities than the directions suggest, it will burn the fuck out of you (for a few days, quite literally).

Please, take my advice and experience and don't do it.

>_<

I heard Nair burned like crazy, so I tried it on my face once

It burned for approx. 40 hours, and no I'm not kidding at all.

maybe i just have tough skin, but nair, veet, etc has never irritated my leg/arm skin. actually, what'd i'd suggest using for hair removal is sally hansen's hair removal cream. it's the most recent product i've used, and i liked it quite a bit better than nair, etc.

yea, i haven't had ANY luck with nair on the sensitive parts - chest was OK but only lasted a few days. it burns like hell and the results just aren't worth the pain

ive never had problems with waxing on any part of my body, and lasts a good amount longer than shaving or nair/veet. but, like someone said ^ up there somewhere, you need to get a good kind of wax. ive been to cheaper places and it hurt considerably more (with worse results) than a place that was slightly more expensive and used a better wax.
