I'm sick of the 15+ cuts I get down there everytime I shave no matter what razor/shaving cream/lotion I use
6/9/2006 12:51:03 PM
it works on all hair, public and private.you might want to get a post-nair lotion if you are using it on private hair, it can irritate the area.
6/9/2006 12:52:08 PM
does it grow on the TTA??Or maybe at Lake Johnson? What the hell is PUBLIC hair?
6/9/2006 12:52:35 PM

6/9/2006 12:52:48 PM

6/9/2006 12:53:06 PM

6/9/2006 12:54:25 PM

6/9/2006 12:56:42 PM
I think there is a reason more people don't do this and it's probably because that shit will burn your vagina like the herp. But I could be wrong, try it out.[Edited on June 9, 2006 at 12:56 PM. Reason : dj]

6/9/2006 1:34:43 PM
hot sauce really soothes the area after a shave...i hear.
6/9/2006 1:37:31 PM
bikini zone helps with razor burn yoA+++ highly recommended would do business with again
6/9/2006 1:39:00 PM
just get it waxed - no worries, no burns, no nothingive had it done "down there" before and it isnt very painful
6/9/2006 1:39:09 PM
yea, so far this is the best method Ive found- just be careful with sensitive areasit sure beats the heck out of shavingfor those who suggest waxing- its obvious they just dont get it
6/9/2006 1:42:32 PM
what is there not to get?
6/9/2006 1:56:24 PM
don't ever use that VEET shit... i spilled it on the sink in the dorms one time & it burned a hole on the surface
6/9/2006 1:59:12 PM
Try putting a small dab on your area and see how it works.
6/9/2006 2:05:30 PM
waxing doesnt work for everyone-everytime ive had it done (trying diff types of wax), the result is never goodall im saying is that for some ppl it works and for others it doesntmaybe it works for you joe17669
6/9/2006 2:29:30 PM
i hear that waxing works well.
6/9/2006 2:37:15 PM
did a dude just say he waxed his pubes
6/9/2006 2:44:43 PM
yes
6/9/2006 2:56:13 PM
For me, veet is better than nair for down there but I suggest just testing a little spot first, everyone is different. I perfer waxing though and the only place around here I go is the Von Kekel Salon in Cary, they have the best wax.
6/9/2006 3:09:34 PM
I've done the waxing a few times and it doesn't go well at all...burns for like a week after and stays red and irritatedI think I have SUPER sensitive skinThanks for the info everyone!
6/9/2006 4:16:50 PM
how long do you have to wax before it starts thinning some? i tried the waxing routeexpensivepainfuland more just came back in like 2 days later
6/9/2006 4:19:59 PM
^^Pics of your pubes please.. Then we can answer if nair would work or not...
6/9/2006 4:45:17 PM
is ass hair considered pubic hair?cause i had a roomate do that one time, and it worked
6/9/2006 4:49:45 PM
^^^^you have to use the good stuff, cheap wax hurts like a bitch and makes it irritated, and someone who knows what they are doing is really important also. Veet is good for just a few days, I just slather it and wait a few minutes.[Edited on June 9, 2006 at 4:53 PM. Reason : ]
6/9/2006 4:53:05 PM
^every time I've had it waxed I've had it done at salons (I don't trust myself with ripping out my pubic hair with hot wax)The last two times has been at Skin Sense, which is a great salon imo....so I dunno why my skin seeks revenge on me so visciously after a waxing encounter
6/9/2006 5:03:43 PM
i have extremely sensitive skin & i'm telling you, bikini zone works!!
6/9/2006 6:52:32 PM
If you can't wax without problems, Nair will be worse. It's a chemical burn waiting to happen and I think it's worse than shaving. It breaks hair off at the surface. With a good blade at least you'll have a clean cut and not a ragged, burned hair.SkinSense is hit or miss for waxing because some people there lack training or experience. Go to Betty @ B. Roman Day Spa and tell her I sent you. Do touch ups every two weeks (you can do those at home after a professional does you the first time-- try Sally Hansen's allover hair removal kit) if your hair grows back fast. If a full bikini wax is painful and your skin is burned or bruised, your therapist's doing something wrong.
6/9/2006 7:23:46 PM
It doesn't work well at all if you do it per directions... however, if you use it longer or in greater quantities than the directions suggest, it will burn the fuck out of you (for a few days, quite literally). Please, take my advice and experience and don't do it.>_<
6/9/2006 11:38:57 PM
I heard Nair burned like crazy, so I tried it on my face onceIt burned for approx. 40 hours, and no I'm not kidding at all.
6/10/2006 12:00:53 AM
one time i tried to use nair on my legs and it irritated my skin so badly that i itched my legs until they bledNEVER AGAIN
6/10/2006 12:25:04 AM
maybe i just have tough skin, but nair, veet, etc has never irritated my leg/arm skin. actually, what'd i'd suggest using for hair removal is sally hansen's hair removal cream. it's the most recent product i've used, and i liked it quite a bit better than nair, etc.

Thinking about some of the females who have posted in this thread and their pubic hair makes me want to vomit.[Edited on June 10, 2006 at 12:43 AM. Reason : .]
6/10/2006 12:42:38 AM
please dear god keep it off your balls /public service announcement
6/10/2006 1:09:30 AM
waxing is best definitely if ur skin can take it.... if not be careful with the nair
6/10/2006 1:14:09 AM

6/10/2006 7:47:32 AM
yea, i haven't had ANY luck with nair on the sensitive parts - chest was OK but only lasted a few days. it burns like hell and the results just aren't worth the painive never had problems with waxing on any part of my body, and lasts a good amount longer than shaving or nair/veet. but, like someone said ^ up there somewhere, you need to get a good kind of wax. ive been to cheaper places and it hurt considerably more (with worse results) than a place that was slightly more expensive and used a better wax.
