OKAY... ill play serious for a moment:

edomites were a canaanite tribe in biblical times (old testament).

they were related to the israelites in language and culture, but were not actually israelites. legend had it that they descended from Jacob's brother Esau.

its now a fashionable thing for white supremacists of the Neo-Nazi / Christian Identity Movement variety to claim a conspiracy of sorts where todays modern Jews are actually Edomites, and the true descendents of Israelites are somehow actaully the White Anglo-Saxon Protestants found in Western Europe and America. or something like that.

Its pretty retarded so I never cared to find the details.
