no, they mentioned it onaccident a couple shows ago. The show is going national. That is what they meant by "leaving" the triangle.

i feel sorry for the rest of the country if it is going national. one of the worst radio morning shows. the stuff they do is stupid, sophomoric, and not even close to being funny. i used to work in an office where everyone around me listened to it. 10 a.m. couldn't get here fast enough.

i listened to it when i lived in the triangle but since i left, the morning shows have made mix 101.5's morning show look good

honestly if i was in a bigger city i would prob have more choices but right now i'd be happy if the show went national bc it would mean i'd have something better to listen to in the morning than what i currently have.

I have been listening to the Showgram every morning recently and have been using their InDemand service as well. I would be fucking pissed if they were no longer on the air here but it will be interesting to see what happens.

^ Yeah, I am looking at buying a house that will mean a longer commute but I rationalize it with "at least I can listen to Bob and the Showgram" while I am driving to work.

It makes long drives much better because even when I get to work there are moments when I want to stay in the car hear the rest of what they are talking about.

they're either going national or they're getting dropped and a national morning show is moving in

they mentioned something this morning in saying, "we cant really talk about it but it's been a long time coming and it's for the best"

the way mike said that made me believe they were getting the boot. i used to work there years ago (when madison was on the show) and they almost got booted for a bunch of stuff they did then. it was receiving a lot of negative publicity at the time and the GM was getting fed up. but now there's a new GM and i don't know how they feel.

i like the show now moreso than how it was a few years back. i think it's pretty funny. i especially like monday mornings when they have listeners call in and talk about "stuff they did but will never do again." the one about the guy who had sex with his best friend's mom in the kitchen while the best friend was sleeping was classic....especially when the best friend called in.

I don't think they could be cancelled. I am sure its some lame ass publicity stunt. I read an article in the N&O a few weeks ago about how theyre like #3 in the triangle (#1 and 2 being rap stations im almost certain).

Yes its fun. Yes AI stuff gets old as shit, I have never watched that show.
But Bob the Bounty Hunter, Nostradumbass and Mike's Rappin Review are funny. Usually the WHeel of... is too. I called in once last fall when they were like "Are you homesick at college" and I was like I am the opposite!! I am so sick of living at home, taking care of my sick parents!!! and they felt bad for me and gave me a restaurant gift card...

well k975 is hip hop and randb. they play about 40% randb. the rap falls in the hip hop but not all hip hop is rap. g105 and k975 play rap but there is no rap or even totally hip hop station like 102 in the triad.

as far as 97.5 is concerned.. it's about 25% r&b, about 35% rap, and about 40% commercials.
