ive got:

New Super Mario Bros
Meteos
Advance Wars Dual Strike
Kirby's Canvas Curse
Yoshi's Touch and Go
Wario Ware Touched
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

All are good, many are excellent. You can count on Castlevania rocking too, I just never got around to buying it.

The only 2 I could probably live without is Wario Ware and Yoshi cuz they get old after a while, but I'm sure thats true for anything

Definitely go for New Super Mario Bros. and Mario Kart DS. Sonic Rush is one of the best Sonic games ever. Castlevania: DoS is a sure thing too.

I got a DS lite and Mario Kart, New Super Mario Brothers, and Metroid Prime Hunters this weekend.

Damn thing is addicting and the multiplayer games that come with the new super mario brothers are a blast.

to anyone that has hunters, how do you play the single player. I think the 'easiest' way I like is using the stylus for the right handed look. It takes some getting used to.

1st gen DS did. DS Lite doesn't.

That being said, I use the stylus in my right hand as the "mouse" and keep my left hand on the d-pad to use as the "WASD" keys.

Tetris DS is fucking addictive as hell. I had to stop carrying my DS in my backpack because I kept playing it at work. If you are looking for a good single player, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is excellent.

You should definitely import Ossu! Tatakae! Ouendan!. It is bar none the best game I've played for the system. The soundtrack is addictive and you really don't have to worry much about the Japanese text, as the stories are illustrated in self-explanatory ways. I've been playing on the normal setting, and it's pretty damned difficult. There are two higher difficulty levels, each with different features, so there's quite a bit of replay value in this game. I do not believe that Elite Beat Agents will be remotely as cool as Ouendan, so I personally wouldn't wait for it.

^^probably the other 10 hours was spent not actually playing, but WAITING FOR YOUR TURN.

man, it takes the CPU a long time sometimes....

still a badass game.

rumored: a starcraft port for the DS. Now THAT would be sweet.

and by sweet, I mean awesome.

holy fuck

wireless handheld starcraft

would be odd to controll it all with the stylus with no keyboard but shit that would be awesome.

not to mention Diablo II and Warcraft II would be cool.

Circuit City (as well as other retailers) sell a replacement stylus pack that includes a thumb stylus.

^ not to mention Star Fox Command and Mario Hoops 3 on 3. If Cooking Mama is only $20 I dont see how I wont pick that up. I think SFC is $35 and Hoops is $30...think.

And all I have right now is Mario Kart, which exceeded all expectations I've had about it the first 5 minutes. I love me some Battle.

Lego-Starwars II: The original trilogy.... I didnt expect much, but it just doesnt stop being fun

a little "buggy" though

mostly some textures not loading right on outdoor boards

almost everything about it makes me think "...cool.."

The DS version of Lego Star Wars II SUCKS compared to any of the other console versions out there. Maybe I skewed myself, but I played the PSP version for about a week before trying out the DS version, and I found the DS version to be almost unplayable in comparison.

And as far as suggestions for games, I'd recommend in order:
Castlevania
Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney
Kirby Canvas Curse
Tetris DS
Mario Kart

you probably already know if you like teris or mario kart, so adjust accordingly.
castlevania and phoenix wright were both pretty rare, but have recently been reprinted and can be found in most stores again.

If you like RPGs, go buy Contact now before it becomes impossible to find.

New Super Mario Bros was fun/nostalgic, but personally I thought it was on the short/easy side.

Lego Star Wars 2 is an excellent game, but the ds version is buggy and incomplete - don't buy it unless you dont have any other console/computer that could play it.
