A friend and I are searching for a two-bedroom apartment close to campus for the upcoming school year. we'd like to move in at the beginning of august. We'd like for it to be on the wolfline/within bike-riding distance. Looking for a nice a place that is also relatively cheap. Hopefully rent + utilites < 400$. It would be great to find something in the 350-375 range total. Of course, the cheaper the better. But we also obviously don't want to stay in a dump. I'm guessing there are probably some threads for this, but I searched through the last 10 pages and got tired of looking for all the specifics and the correct move in date. So if you could offer some advice and/or ideas that would be greatly appreciated. many thanks.

umm...i don't understand what the hell is so funny. We want a two-bedroom that is less than 400 per room. meaning it would be less than 800 total. i'm not looking for a 1-bedroom apartment, I know those are expensive because I stayed in one last summer and it was around 550 total. to clarify, we're looking for a two-bedroom apartment hopefully in the 700-750 range or less.

i don't know if there are any open, but the apartments at gorman & jackson st (across gorman from wolf village and across jackson from king village) are 2 bedroom, and I think it's about $300/person, w/o utilities. i'd expect to pay about $400/month. i think they're pretty nice. they have a bedroom at each end of the apt, bathroom right next to each bedroom, and a living room and kitchen/dining area that's not bad. fairly quiet, as well. there are more families and grad students than undergrads here.
