Is it too much to do STS 302 (10 week), PHI 214 (10 week) and then also BUS 305 (5 week 2nd summer session)? I am currently in the two 10 week courses distance eduation, but I don't want to overdo my workload during second summer session. Does anybody know anything about BUS 305 distance ed with Huggard (sp)?

is 302 the one about environment stuff and society? i think i took that, with tavakoli. very easy, but i screwed up. the bookstore sold me the wrong edition of the book (he was using older edition), and it didn't have all the articles we had to read, so i had to take the quizzes and basically guess.

but otherwise that was an easy class. i don't know about bus 305, but i've heard huggard's a pretty awesome professor (at least for 225)

I'm pretty sure anyone can make an A/B in PHI 214. The quizzes are annoying, yet painfully easy. Just have the weekly PDFs open in the background, read the Q, skim the PDF for a key word, and there's your answer. Works everytime.

I never fully read a single thing, just skimmed for answers and got an A+ in the course. I recall the paper being very easy, and he grades them (at least he did mine) very lax. It's a great course to boost your GPA.

And that's NOT too much work for a summer, escp. considering how easy PHI 214 is. I took 12 hours of D.E. courses while working 40 hrs./week and managed it, so you're straight. I'm taking 9 hours of D.E. right now (all are 5-week Summer Session 1 courses) and while it's an overload, it's straight. They're the final courses holding me back from my diploma

what really sucks is he has a question bank for each quiz

so you dont get the same ones if you retake it

and its kinda hard to find sometimes

Hey Darren, are you talking about the PHI class or the STS 302 class? Which one did you take last summer?

Im taking STS 302 this fall online with Takavoli. Im just confused if people are saying that the PHI class all of a sudden got harder or if the STS class got harder.

Thanks

Andrew

drunknloaded is suggesting the PHI 214 class got harder. I never personally took any STS class myself.

Still, Tavakoli was solid and shouldn't present *that* huge a problem to anyone, IMO.
