I work with Realtors daily and I have to give Mike Montpetit (Town & Country Realty) credit for being one of the best negotiators I have ever encountered. He is an excellent realtor. Returns his voicemails in ten minutes or less. Kelli Kaspar at Re/Max united is also someone that I would recommend highly. Extremely experienced and knowledgeable of the area. She is on a team with an EXCELLENT reputation. I could list about 20 agents that I would highly recommend that work in the Cary/West Raleigh area I would recommend you interview at least five then make a decision and stick with it. Some advice on what to look for.You want a full time realtor. Someone who solely derives their income from Real Estate. Part timers dont have the experience/motivation to serve you well. In all my dealings with part time agents they are hard to get on the phone, inexperienced, and they inevitably screw something up. Don't get hooked up with some soccer mom who is just in Real Estate on the side and does not need the money. I would strongly advise you to avoid anyone who is not making Real Estate their career. Look for experience. You can spot a good agent because they will have been in the business for a long time & have kept up a consistent business during that time.
