My gf's roomate's dog seems to think that electronics are tasty. So he nibbled on my Sony Cybershot and broke the LCD screen. One little sliver of a corner still lights up... the camera is otherwise in great working condition. Some tooth marks, but still takes pics and vids. It would pretty much work like a regular camera w/out the LCD screen. It takes mpeg movies as well. You would have problems adjusting the settings if need be, but I already had everything programmed for average user. It has 2 AA batteries that are rechargable specifically for this camera and charger, I also have the USB adapter (but no driver disc, i think you can download it online, but I just used it like a detachable drive (F: )) and A/V inputs for hooking it up to a tv. 16MB card included... Duo Pro Memory stick i think. I'm not looking for much, a new one has already been bought for me.I'll get pics on here in a while, but it is just how it sounds...[Edited on May 24, 2006 at 10:09 PM. Being it's a 3.2 probably not worth it but my dads screen broke at Disney a few years ago and I found a replacement screen from sony for about $100. Was way overpriced but you should be able to find one online or on ebay. Maybe find a camera with a good LCD but the lens is broken.http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-Cyber-shot-P71-3-2-Megapixel-for-parts-EXTRAS_W0QQitemZ7622235149QQcategoryZ64352QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemhttp://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-Cyber-shot-DSC-P7-3-2-MP-for-Parts-Repair-AS-IS_W0QQitemZ7621856116QQcategoryZ64352QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemhttp://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&from=R10&catref=C6&satitle=sony+cyber-shot+parts&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&bs=Search&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&a25563=-24&a14=-24&a25565=-24&a25564=-24&a10244=-24&gcs=1420&pfid=1721&reqtype=1&pfmode=1&alist=a25563%2Ca14%2Ca25565%2Ca25564%2Ca10244%2Ca24197%2Ca3801&pf_query=sony+cyber-shot+parts&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=28213&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=[Edited on May 25, 2006 at 6:37 AM. THat could be an option but is prob too much of a hassle... thanks for the links though!I just remembered though that you can plug this into your TV and that shows exactly what the LCD screen would show... so it really wouldn't be too badI dunno what the hell i'm gonna do with this thing...

I broke the LCD on my kodak, and they fixed it for free. it wasn't under warranty or anything. it was a very plesant suprise. You might want to contact sony before you sell.
