5/23/2006 9:43:54 AM
whats wrong with todd hollandsworth and kerry wood?
5/23/2006 9:44:54 AM
Pat Listach is the worst ever. He never amounted to shit.I would also add Hinske to that list, I think he was 2002?2001 was Ichiro and Pujols! Those two kickass.
5/23/2006 9:45:25 AM
maybe not worthless. i guess he can go in the category with Berroathis thread was encouraged by Street's performance against my Sox last night
5/23/2006 9:45:31 AM

Hollandsworthvictim of injury, sucking and getting traded all the damned time. 12 major league seasons, only 5 of them did he play over 100 games. most HR in a season is 19 (Dodgers/Rockies). most RBI is 67 (Rockies/Rangers)Woodexpectations were too highanother victim of injury25 wins over the past 3+ seasons yet has earned $23.69million over that timeplays for the Cubs
5/23/2006 9:53:30 AM

5/23/2006 9:53:59 AM

Easy on Huston Street, he's messed up twice this season, and last night he got dinged on his first pitch thrown, he'll be a ten M man in 4 years with Wagner and Rivera

5/23/2006 12:05:47 PM
Fucking Ben Grieve. I thought he was going to be nasty and I went out and bought a few of his rookie cards. Waste of a couple bucks there.

5/23/2006 11:54:27 PM
NO ONE has good years with the CubsWrigley Stadium is a black hole of stench
5/23/2006 11:56:58 PM
I agree with most of these, especially Wood. I love the Bob Hamelin referenceI have to disagree with Sasaki and Williamson. Sasaki was a top notch closer (even though I think closers are overrated, he was good at what he did) for several years and Williamson was a valuable relief man. They weren't stars but they weren't worthless by any stretch of the imagination. I would argue that Williamson was very valuable to the bosox the year they won the series, he was dominant in the playoffs that year.Street, come on, it is only his second year.Mondesi was a very productive player 6 or 7 years, I don't think there is any argument that he was valuable. To say he sucked is to proclaim your ignorance on the subject. Sorry. [Edited on May 24, 2006 at 2:08 AM. Reason : as]
