i washed my phone today with a load of clothes so obivously it doesnt work anymore.

i havent had any problems with cingular. i don't use my cell phone enough to really worry about it. and i'm on the family package or whatever with parents and one sister and they all have cingular, so i'm kind of stuck with that.

SLVR anyone? i think thats what im going for next

cingular rules, get the slvr if you dont like flip phones, cingular doesn't lock their phones, so you can upload your own mp3's and make them your ringtones unlike verizon, spring etc etc...

you can also bluetooth rintones from other cingular friends, all for free

make sure whatever phone you buy it has the 850 band - cingular is building a lot of those towers

sony ericsson phones that have 850 usually have a "a" in the name

i really like my SE Z520a, i mainly got it because of the "spoiler" design of the antenna which means i'm not likely to break it off in my pocket like i used to do constantly with my old phone. It also has a generous amount of memory, can hold 200 photos, and i have numerous mp3s, etc on it.

^^^ Alot of SE phones have either an 'a' or an 'i' after them. The a means it's an American model, the i means it's it's an international model. The s710a is the same as the s700i, just 2 different names.

get the samsung sgh-d357 with the push-to-talk feature....brand new cingular phone, its great

built -in bluetooth, great speakers, etc...

Just got mine in the mail today. Thanks for the heads up. Looks like a decent phone, I decided who gives a shit about the razr and such. All I really need my phone for is conversations and everynow and then a text message.

I'm personally an LG fan. Right now I'm rocking an 8100, but my boss has a 9800 "The V" which is really pimp. Its a little bigger, but thats going to be my next phone since I text message quite a bit.
