xp pro will be useless unless you're using the same hard drive it was originally installed on or the cd key is good for more than one license.

^^Um, not really ... you'll need to take 10-15 minutes to call Microsoft, go through their automated system, get transferred to another side of the world, and then have the support rep approve your new activiation.
