I need someone to repair a large hole in my kitchen wall and maybe a small hole on in my living room. The hole is a little bigger than a basketball in the kitchen and smaller than a tennis ball in the living room. I would do it myself but I've never done it before and want it to look good (so that I can get my deposit back :beatup. Price is negotiable but nothing extreme so hit me up if you're interested and have some good experience

what the fuck did you do?

Ike Turner possessed me that night and I accidently pushed a girl off me and she went head first through the wall
5/21/2006 12:56:36 PM
was she a fatty or did you just push her that hard?

to fix the tennis ball hole get a sheet of white paper and some plaster. Plaster the paper over the hole and sand the edges. Do this until you don't notice where the paper is sagging in. If needed paint over the spot once you are done.

^^^^Ha!...I do the same thing. Of course, one time I found the stud and broke my hand.

^ I did the same thing in the hallway. I punched it, found a stud.. got pissed that I didn't hurt the wall so I moved over about 6 inches and tried again.

you should do it yourselfit should only take 1/2 hour or so w/ the kit you can buy at lowes or home depot

Do it yourself, use the money you saved to holla at some therapy.

Repairing a hole in your drywall is one of the easiest things to do as far as home repairs go. Just go to Lowes and buy a kit. Ask one of the salespeople and they'll know what you're looking for. It'll run you less than $20 for everything you need most likely.

haha you put a bitch's head through both sides of the wall.

You can definitely do it yourself in just a few minutes. I've done ones in my house where I took out anchors, etc. left by previous owners. It's REALLLLLY easy, because I did it and you can't see them once I painted over it... and I'm not very Bob Villa-like.

The hole repairing is not hard.......getting the fucking paint to match is another battle.
5/22/2006 1:16:27 PM
unless the walls are textured, then its a bitch to match that shit..oh, did the whole stud finder/hospital visit deal myself. first bone break lisa fixed a hole in a wall

Well if yall think the kit will be enough to cover the size of the big hole then I guess I can do it myself.

I've replace a few holes I put in walls in my old gorman crossings apartment... a tennis ball sized hole you could use a kit.... all that is is pretty much a piece of thick tape that covers it. Put that on, then plaster, sand, plaster, sand, etc until its fairly flush, then paint.the basketball sized one you would be best to cut out a rectangle around the hole that reaches between two studs... then get a piece of sheetrock the SAME thickness, cut it to as close as you can, and put it in... then use the repair tape to cover the boarder and do more plaster/sand/plaster/sand....to match the paint, take a chunk from your current wall to lowes/home depot, and they can usually use a computer to match the paint closely

Wouldn't that plastic mesh/screen type stuff cover a basketball or human head sized hole?Take before and after pics to show us how it turned out.
